Staff were amazing. We had a great afternoon and evening at the inn. The Sunday roast was the best we have had in the UK. The room was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. We stopped on the way from Edinburgh for an overnight stop. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Located in Chester-le-Street, The Lambton Worm offers en-suite bed-and-breakfast accommodation with free on-site private parking. The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was newly redecorated and lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The pub downstairs had a fun quiz night on and the breakfast included with the room price was substantial and yummy. Overall, I can't fault the place and the people who work there made the experience phenomenal.
