Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, very cosy place to spend a rainy evening. Really excellent food at the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! We stopped for one night to break up the drive from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back.

We have enjoyed the area; discovered the nature reserves along the coast line, the mosses and the hills and lakes of the closeby Lake District. The variation of landscapes in one area is unique. Every day we started with a tradional English breakfast and finished most days with a beer in the pub. There is an enclosed car-park as you need a car around here. There is wide range of restaurants in the city center. Lynn and Jim are enjoying running their Inn.

Very friendly people, beautiful location with very nice garden, good ffod, nice atmosphere.

This traditional Cumbrian slate-tiled property has free Wi-Fi, a bar and award-winning, home-cooked food. Perfect location. Small but lovely room with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly service. We will come again.

Rooms at Churchills Inn & Rooms are clean and functional, with private bathrooms and facilities for making tea and coffee. Some also offer picturesque views The room is a bit cramped but the facilities were perfect and we had a great two days there. It was very close to the boat pier and easy to eat.
