The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. The standard of food at breakfast and dinner was very good. The fish dish at dinner was really good.
Dinner was fantastic❤️ Breakfast was just what we needed to start the day.

We enjoyed our short stay at Jewel Guest house. The room was clean, modern and well presented. It has been refurbished in recent years so everything is fairly new. Brief encounter with the host who was friendly. The location is easy walking distance of the Aberdeen high street. This is an advantage as we walked to a great pub McGinty's for dinner. Also we found street parking not too far away on one of the side streets. Thanks again to our host.
The views were fantastic, and the proximity to Strathkinness Tavern and StAndrews a definite plus. The layout was just right, especially for one person. Linda worked hard to rectify BT's incompetence and gave handy advice on laundry facilities in St Andrews.
The staff was simply awesome. Very friendly, helpful, open, perfect in all ways. The lady recommend us at the beginning what to do and where to go. The breakfast was simply awesome. The Guest house was quiet clean very nice. This accomodation exceeds my expectation and it was a jewel on the crown of our Edinburgh visit.
The innkeepers were a pleasure to meet and interact with. The property is decorated beautifully and in an incredibly beautiful location high on a hill overlooking the beautiful bay and port of Oban. The property has a lovely garden and the patio is gorgeous. The breakfasts were more than we could ask for and perfect examples of Scottish hospitality.
The dinner was way above the standard we expected for a guest house
