Booked this property just on the distance from Florence and the reviews, we were booking places just a couple of days before arriving somewhere. Such a charming and unexpected property in the most wonderful little hilltop village. Our room had a rooftop terrace accessed by interior stairs from the room - a view of the town, valleys and a very atmospheric castle. A walk through that castle with the mist rolling in and out - not to be missed! The dinner at the inn was delicious and the breakfast was typical Italian style. The owner was lovely and helpful. A very quiet location. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, but bed comfort is always such a personal preference. No public transport, you must have your own vehicle. If you don’t mind curvy roads up and down hilltops, I would highly recommend it! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It had the charm of a traditional tuscan hotel with the comfort of a recent refurbishment. The food was the best i have had anywhere.

We had to book on the evening of our stay, as other accommodation as unavailable. They were very accommodating and showed up the place within the hour. Location was also ideal right in the centre of town in a nice square with restaurants and cafes.
