The standout feature of this guest house was undoubtedly the owners' genuine warmth. Despite the property's simplicity, their exceptional friendliness, complimentary Tuktuk rides, and delightful traditional dinners created a unique and memorable.

Breakfast excellent, recommend dinner. Offered safari was well organised, saw plenty of wildlife including 40-50 elephants, knowledgeable about wildlife seen on trip. Fairly close to Lion rock one direction and bus to Dambulla other direction on road of guest house. Very friendly and helpful people. Appreciated being with a family, you are not just another client. Very good value for money . I stayed 6 days , not one day.

We had a great time in this guest house! We spent 4 nights here which was perfect to enjoy the Sigiriya region and Dambulla too. Our host was very nice, he helped us a lot during our stay, with his own TukTuk or for some advices. We also had breakfasts and dinners here and food was amazing! The kids loved their stay too and played a lot with the carrom board or badminton in their beautiful garden.

We stayed 5 nights at Golden Rainbow Guest House to visit Dambulla and Sigiriya. Golden Rainbow is ideal for visiting these interesting places. Kumare the host took very good care of us 👍👍👍 He sure is the best host in the world! Every day, he served delicious highest-quality breakfast and dinner cooked by his friendly wife. Very friendly owners, they were so helpful - taking us to a dinner restaurant when we arrived late to the guest house and even bought our favourite foods for breakfast! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, good hot water and AC. The rooms are separate from their house which gives you your own space and they have a lovely garden.

It is an amazing place. We were lucky to stay in this guest house. The owner is a lovely person, always ready to help you. The breakfast and dinner were super tasty. The place has an amazing garden. Everything is very clean. We booked for one night but we decided to stay longer. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Everything. I have travelled a lot and have been in many highly rated hotels, hostel and guest houses. However, I don't recall such a warm and friendly host that is not only very sympatic but also helps out with everything that is there to support. The dinner and breakfast we had here were incredible. On top of that, the rooms are super tidy and clean, while being very well equipped.

Big room. Front of the Guest House is all open plan including large restaurant area and tables & chairs. Quiet location but not far from center & Buddha cave's. Hot water. Good dinner & simple breakfast is good. Friendly atmosphere.

We had an amazing stay at Cattleya Guest House. We arrived quite late and they took great care of us and made us a great dinner even at this late hour. They helped organise our stay in Sigiriya with day trips and the hospitality and level of care from the hosts was exceptional. The delicious breakfast was served in the garden which is often full of wildlife. We would strongly recommend this guest house! Thank you for a lovely stay 😄
