He arranged a wonderful kayaking session in the fjord right in front of the basecamp, pointed us to beautiful sites around the area (waterfall, bathing area, dam), and guided us on the Svartisen glacier hike. Øyvind was very helpful, supportive and professional. Though Glonfjord is not as well-known as other fjords north and south of it, Øyvind had made this place very very special.

The nearest airport is Rørvik Airport, 80 km from the inn. I stayed three nights in this comfortable and quiet place and the new owners were so warm and welcoming to me. I can highly recommend getting the hot dinner from this hotel too, the food was delicious. I found the location to be a great jumping off point to see the torghatten, heilhornet, and to go fishing.
