After spending a few days on the road earlier, this place felt like a desert oasis, and although it's hidden in the old town it's still easy to navigate your car to the premises. The Inn has two (2!) small pools, indoor + outdoor, and breakfast of champions, served in a beautiful, almost jungle-like atrium. All the staff were incredibly kind and fun, plus they even had a hair dryer for us to borrow! The room was great, cool and clean, with subtle lighting, but the best part were the little locks on entrance doors. Absolutely adorable!

The garden is beautifully maintained, the view from the observation deck is marvelous. Food was lovely. The hotel arranged a trip for us to Jebel Shams with a really nice driver for a reasonable amount. Very nice staff at the reception.

One of them even went with us to get our car, so we could park in the lot. The other helped me arrange a ride back to Muscat. Such a nice place!
