They provided me with regular updates on cultural events and gave me a great insight into their country. I booked for 2 weeks and extended for another 2 weeks. Breakfast was excellent, with fruit, vegetables and a daily choice of more continental or more Trinidadian flavours. Trust Donna's suggestions blindly, it doesn't get any better than this! The room was spacious, clean and fully equipped. A shopping mall is 3 minutes walk away. There is also a stop at the mall for inexpensive shared taxis into the central city. Everything else you could possibly ask for, from pubs to restaurants to supermarkets, is within walking distance. The hotel is located at an intersection, but traffic is slow, limited and you won't hear traffic noise.

The room, bed and bathroom very comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and fresh. Strong AC which is necessary for this humid city. Within 5 minute walking distances there are some nice restaurants. A two minute walk get you to a great little convenience store call Snack Pot where you get good, healthy sandwiches and meals at a very affordable price. A short taxi ride gets you to the downtown. I would definitely stay here again.
