A lovely traditional Hawaiian house in the hills above Kona. Inside was spacious and very comfortable. It had all the facilities we needed inside, including fridge, microwave and mini oven. We also had access to a shared kitchen with more facilities like a cooker. The hoss were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Every morning there was a fresh pot of coffee ready to start the day. The property takes about 7 minutes to Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona and has numerous beaches within 30 minutes that were stunning. The property had good parking that linked to a main transit route. We would stay here again no problem.

Volcano Forest Inn is located in the middle of a rainforest. Views from a furnished patio is featured is all rooms at Volcano Forest Inn. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is 18 minutes’ walk away. Watch for lava at the ocean sightings an hours’ drive away at Kupapau Point. Very cozy big room, and lots of fruit available for breakfast! Not so far from the Volcano Parks Visitor Center either, yet still tucked away private in the jungle. Jon was so quick to respond and very helpful as well. Awesome spot to stay for a night or more! :)
