The property was perfectly located - 5 mins walk to a shop & restaurant, 5 mins drive to the nearest town and 60 mins drive from Yosemite NP. Our room was clean and well equipped and the hosts very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really well thought out - either stay and eat or grab and go - everything was packaged up to make things really easy and made for a great start to the day having breakfast in Yosemite. We asked about gold panning in the area and the host kindly obliged with a gold panning kit to take down the creek behind the hotel - bucket list of 52 years ticked off, thanks so much!

Guests of Queen's Inn By The River Oakhurst can relax on the large outdoor terrace. Ample seating is available. A wine and beer garden, Idle Hour Winery and Kitchen, is offered everyday. Perfect base camp for Yosemite trip. Everybody was so lovely, at the bar, at the hostel. Ten out of ten!

This historic old-west boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Groveland, CA is a short 30-minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Pine Mountain Lake is less than 5 minutes away. Hotel Charlotte has an in-house restaurant and bar, Charlotte's Tavern, serving lunch and dinner from 11-3 and 5-8:30. We have outdoor and balcony dining, too. Hotel Charlotte is surrounded by a variety of local eateries, shops, and coffee houses all within walking distance. Cozy, historic and charming! Was a great place to stay ahead of driving into Yosemite. The owners were so friendly and attentive, and the free coffee and muffin for breakfast was a treat!

The River Rock Inn is Mariposa's oldest motel. Located 40 minutes’ drive from Yosemite National Park, River Rock Mariposa Inn features a spacious sun terrace. Free WiFi, free parking is included in all rooms. A tiny (but big enough for 2) and cozy room with a comfortable bed in a vintage building. Cleanliness also 10/10. Breakfast not included but available just in front of the inn. Self check-in easy.

Located in Stanislaus National Park, just 2 miles from Pinecrest Lake, this inn in Strawberry offers rooms with cable TV. A restaurant and full bar is located on site.

A coffee maker is included in each room at Strawberry Inn. A seating area is also provided. Clean rooms, Great location, Good staffs!! We had memorable times with kids in Ski season. The staffs were friendly for travelers, we were really relaxed in there. One of our recommendations was Strawberry Hamburger in the restaurant. If you have a chance, try it!

A Keurg coffee machine are included in all of the comfortably furnished non-smoking rooms. All of the air-conditioned rooms a seating area. Select suites offer relaxing spa baths, fireplaces and murphy beds. Good location, fairly close to Yosemite (40 min or so), however the groveland town is very charming itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very clean and full of character. The food served at dinner was amazing and the breakfast place next door didn’t disappoint.
