Our stay at Casa Mochila was amazing. Pat was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We also got cake for my birthday. We would reccomend everyone to stay here. It is very easy to catch the bus to Salento in front of the hostel, just wave to the driver and they will stop for you. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty! If you want to chill here; there are very nice hammocks available. 10/10 points for this place and the service!

This is quite a lovely place in the middle of the jungle operated by two lovely older persons which turn on/off the jacuzzi and prepare excellent breakfast as well as dinner. In addition, the owner is really helpful organising transfers to the airport or to the close by Vale de Cocora. If I would go to Salento, I would definitely book this place again, 10/10!

We had an amazing stay! We were looking for a nice quiet stay in nature and that is what we found. We saw lots of birds, fireflies and an amazing night sky. Also the jacuzzi was a very nice extra!

Has beautiful views overlooking the mountains. There’s also so many areas to sit and relax around the hostel as well as a huge garden at the back. The breakfast is fairly cheap and good value for money and they have a drinking water tap that’s free to use. The beds and dorms were comfy and spacious and the bathrooms were always clean. I also found it to be quite social as a solo traveller.

The hotel has a good location - close to the mirador, the Willy’s to go to Cócora Valley and coffee farms. Also the commercial street Calle Real was close by and full of cafes, restaurants and handcrafts. The hostel restaurant is also an open door restaurant with many traditional dishes for dinner. We booked massages which were great and used the hot tub also (book your time slot on arrival) the eco lodges are luxury tree houses and are clean spacious and comfortable. the food in the restaurant is really good and the views are spectacular! the perfect getaway to relax after a busy few days in Salento!SarahYoung couple

The hotel staff are extremely attentive to your every need. Unfortunately the night before our stay there was a problem with piping which meant we were not able to use our jacuzzi bath as we had hoped, however they quickly investigated and located the problem, and issued us with a partial refund.

A relaxed atmosphere and a super nice front man, with lots of information available. We could communicate in English. I stayed in the big mixed dorm and I could reach my top bed easily. The kitchen and lounge are not very spacious, but were tidy and clean.
