We have just returned from Julia’s place and already booked our next stay. The cottage is tucked away. Yes it’s next door to some businesses but doesn’t detract from what’s to offer. Totally private, secure and peaceful. We had an issue with the shower which was fixed within hours. Julias communications were friendly and prompt. Cottage very clean, as already commented on was home from home with everything needed. Dog friendly and totally enclosed and secure garden

Excellent location, room and en suite bathroom were really spacious, and the room was very comfortable. The little lounge with tea and coffee facilities was a nice surprise, and meant we could enjoy a cuppa away from the room itself. We were really surprised that our room was down in the basement but it proved to be a bonus, as it was so quiet and nicely heated.

As soon as we arrived it felt very cosy and welcoming. We got checked in swiftly and provided with lots of useful information. We were staying in a privilege room which was beautiful. It was very spacious which was great. I requested a room with a bath if possible and we got one which was perfect. We went to use the pool around supper time hoping it would be quiet and there were only 2 other people there which was ideal to make it feel relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and we caught it at a quiet time which was nice.

We loved our stay at this elegant hotel set on beautiful grounds with pool, spa and resident Highland Cows. The castle building has many stunning original features making it a joy to relax in the lounge or bar or enjoy a meal. Our room was spacious and comfortable, stylishly decorated art Deco style with ultra modern fittings in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Nico the manager, who welcomed us warmly and helped make our stay special. We will definitely return here. It's a hidden gem in a great location.
