Loved the layout and setting of this property. Everything was available to us in the kitchen for cooking. the lounge area was really cosy and reminded me of some mountain cabins I’ve stayed in down in Queenstown New Zealand. I loved the exposed stone masonry around the fire, the plastering with exposed wooden beams and stone arches has been done to a very high standard. The bedrooms were cosy and beds comfy. showers were sufficient and all supplies were present in case you forgot something e.g. towels, shower gel, tooth paste etc.

The property was clean and well equipped. The location was an excellent base to enjoy all that the Lake District has to offer. The hot tub was a lovely addition and we used it a few times over the week. A roaring log fire in the evening was a perfect way to end a busy day x

Me and my family absolutely loved staying at Millbrook Lodge. The house was really cosy, in the most beautiful setting. Waking up to the sounds of the Brook was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the working week. Even my dog felt spoilt with her treats on arrival! We spent the weekend on long walks, and then cosied up in the cinema room for an evening of films and hot chocolates. The kids in particular really loved the pool table and we genuinely found the house to be a hub of spending quality time with one another. We will be recommending to our friends and family!

Central location with a reserved parking spot. Set back from the road, so pretty quiet. All newly decorated and tastefully furnished. Large bright bathroom with a bath as well as a shower. Spacious main bedroom. Kitchen / lounge area small but well equipped with everything we needed. Easy communication and entry to property. Bonus second bedroom which we used as a storage space / dressing room to keep the rest of the place uncluttered.

Burrow Cottage was lovely - plenty of space for our family to relax. We especially loved the hot tub - great after our long walks. Exceptionally clean and Emma was extremely helpful in providing candles in case we ran out of power during a very stormy night.

Very clean space, comfortable living room and bedrooms, well equipped in the kitchen. Appreciated being supplied with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom which we rarely encounter in other self-serve accommodations. The stream next to the accommodation was relaxing to listen to, would be lovely to spend time in the outside space during warmer weather. The location is brilliant to have easy access to the lake district and a local food shop within 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of car parking space in the driveway.
