We booked three nights at Ocean Star. We were greeted by very friendly staff on arrival. Our room was ocean themed - you felt like you were having a beach holiday. The room has all the amenities one needs, with the exception of a hairdryer. The kitchen was well equipped go cook and warm ones own food. It has a large fridge/freezer. The washing machine in the room was a real bonus. The pool area was also lovely and inviting. Ocean Star was ideally located and we were able to walk to the main area at Sanur beach quite easily. Ms. Putri did warn us about the noise but it really was not that bad

we have stayed here several time snow and always feel welcomed, comfortable and for us, a home away from home. Very private yet so close to restaurants, the market, the beach and the touristy areas. The cockerels meantime tell you that you’re in the countryside :-) Very easy access to the beach through their sister property at Ajanta. Breakfast in the villa is excellent and generous. Since Covid, now with very generous drinking water supply in the villa. Stove and microwave and big fridge kitchenette excellent for stour frying the local veggies from the market to supplement deliveries of delicious local food. Staff are terrific and professional. They were properly looked after through covid and the owners deserve respect for that. Same staff we saw 3 weeks pre Covid and now! We had turtles (or terrapins?) to entertain us this time. Boy, are they greedy and attention seeking!
