Beautiful villa in a quiet area surrounded by rice fields north of Ubud (In my opinion, this is the most beautiful area around Ubud) 15 minutes drive by scooter to the Ubud center. Nice clean pool. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. There's a minibar in the fridge with sodas and beers with good price tags. Komang - our host, was such a sweetheart. She helped us with renting the scooters, laundry, and breakfast every day and was always available via Whatsapp if we needed anything. This was definitely the best stay during our 2 months trip to Bali. 10/10 recommend staying here.

This spacious Balinese house, located just 15 minutes on foot from the heart of Ubud, is a paradise wrapped in an authentic Balinese mood, making it an ideal oasis of tranquillity and culture. The architecture of the villa beautifully encapsulates traditional Balinese designs. The family temple and the intricate details around the villa exuded a charm that is distinctively Balinese. Our room offered a stunning view from a balcony overlooking a serene pool, which turned out to be the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was simply delightful. The scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict, and the variety of exotic fresh fruits were tantalizing to our taste buds. Paired with the rich Balinese coffee, it was a great start to our day, every day. The cleanliness of the villa was impeccable. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every detail was spotless, reflecting the dedication of the staff in maintaining high standards of hygiene. The team at Puri Andong Villa was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to share stories about the rituals and history of Bali. Watching them make the offerings and light the fragrant 'dupa' incense in the back garden was a wonderful insight into their culture. Moreover, after cleaning our villa each day, they would leave us a Balinese story, tied up with the three yarns used for the Tridatu bracelet, sparking our anticipation for the next day's tale. The location of Puri Andong Villa is also commendable. It's in close proximity to Ubud center, which offers a plethora of cafes, spas, live music venues, and cultural performances like the ones at Cafe Lotus. Also, the villa is just a stone's throw away from the Campuhan Ridge Walk, where you can watch the sunset paint the sky with an array of colors. For all these reasons and more, we extended our stay to 8 days.

The room was big, the bed was very comfortable and I had everything I needed. the bathroom is big with a bathtub and a shower. The staff is friendly. I used the gym, pool and spa, all good. Beautiful outdoor area with lots of plants, a well-maintained pool and lounge chairs. Perfect to relax and unwind. The room was huge and so spacious, with a fridge, bathrobes, etc. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was nice as well. Nice, quiet area, not many tourists compared to the center. We really enjoyed our stay here and would always come back if we ever visti Ubud again someday. Highly recommened! :)

Beautiful view, luxurious room with little added extras like bubble bath & bath salts, complimentary fruit and water restocked more than once per day. My favourite part was the spa, one of the best massages I’ve ever had, however very pricey, but worth it to experience the relaxing atmosphere of the spa. If it weren’t so pricey I would’ve had multiple instead of just one. Nice to take pictures of.

Some villas have a pretty large private pool that’s against a bamboo forest backdrop. Rooms are large and attached with another large lounge. The bathrooms are also very spacious with very effective use of natural lighting and an interesting ‘stone look’ bathtub. Breakfast is sumptuous although ‘a la carte’ The owner as well as designer of the property; Alberto, engages with his guests over complimentary ‘sundowners’. Overall a nice relaxing experience !!

The bathroom and bath are fantastic. The pool side is amazing and super relaxing. The food (breakfast, lunch, diner) is the best we have had in Bali. We even had a romantic diner supervised by Manik whose international name is Alex ;) Manik went the extra mile at multiple occasions & gave us a fantastic experience. Our room had a nice view on the beautiful forest. Nice pool and option to use outdoor jacuzzi at night. The house incl. outdoor restaurant and garden are nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious, kids were happy about the Crepes. We did a half day tour with Ade to Tegallalang Rice Terrace and the short hiking trip around the hotel and enjoyed both.
