Liked everything about this place, hosts were awesome and very accommodating. Lovely, peaceful property, good size bedroom with ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, cereals, fruit, toast etc. Only minutes from shops and for me, the high note was, only a 5 -7mins drive to Lake Karapiro. Fantastic!

Our first night in NZ was fabulous, setting the bar high indeed. Kaye's Victorian villa is as advertised, and more. Our room seems fully restored but is surely original as well. We looked east out onto a lovely brick patio with birdsong aplenty. Kaye's hospitality is even better - our light dinner and cook to order breakfast were both lovely. As were our little chats. Kaye is a relaxed, conscientious and attentive host.

We really enjoyed having our own little oasis in our 'wing' of the house. Everything was super comfortable, and Alexa in all of the rooms added to the experience - how cool! The spa was such a lovely treat after loooong days at Fieldays. Our hosts (Brendon and Jalena) were incredibly welcoming, kind and warm. The breakfasts were above and beyond, especially with being so early. Everything we asked for was accommodated for, which was amazing. Jalena even went out of her way to make lunch for my sick team member when he stayed home to recover one of the days.

A cow feeding haven 20 minutes from Hobbits with everything you need. Cold water, milk, cereals, DVDs, fresh vegetables picked from the garden, magazines, countless pillows and blankets, a bed warmer, shampoo, conditioner, windows to open with insect screens. Even gluten free bread on request. We couldn't have been happier and the kids loved feeding the cow with carrots. I was fascinated that treadmills for horses exist!
