Wow, was not expecting such a GORGEOUS stay! Super clean, airy with lots of natural light from the large windows viewing the backyard with horses running around. Such a beautiful property, and very easy to check in with comfy beds and fantastic amenities. We loved the hot shower at the end of our long travels. Only stayed for one night, wish we could have stayed longer, definitely would recommend!

All rooms have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Extensive balconies and gardens are featured around the property. There is a private en suite in all rooms as well as tea/coffee facilities. Free private parking and free WiFi are available

From the first moment I parked, I felt comfortable and at-home in Neil and Sue's lovely spot. Both are top-class people, the type you want to hang out with. The property itself is perfection. Wild flowers, chirping birds, the smell of honey suckle in the air, all of nature accompanies your stay. I stayed in the Cottage, which offered nice privacy and lovely quarters, but each of their individual bedrooms in the main house are lovely as well. Breakfast, as many have said, was top-notch. From the property, the amenities, and the way they care, I couldn't ask for a better stay. I'll certainly be back.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Housewithnonails! The rooms are spacious and cosy and our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The house is a beautiful and unique place to stay and makes an excellent base to explore Matamata and the surrounding areas, or even just enjoy some down time on a busy trip. We would definitely stay here again!

We were so comfortable from the time we parked the car right outside the room. We didn’t have far to lug our luggage. We found the room very roomy. The space was a relief so we could move around and not get in each other’s way. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom large and very clean and kitchen clean and well appointed. The location was easy to find and close enough to town centre. Being across the tracks from a supermarket was a benefit too. Thank you for a very relaxing stay.

Very spacious, super clean, owner is very kind, complete amenities from kitchen to bathroom. My children were very happy during our 2 nights stay. Only we were not able to go enjoy their mini park where kids can play due to rain. Weak data connection but it doesn't matter as we really intend to have a great family time. This place is highly recommendable especially to family that love some quiet moments. Thank you to the owner. ♥️

location is just down their main road so places to eat are within walking distance. We stayed in a villa which was immaculate, tv in our room and living room, jet spa bath tub and the beds were so comfortable. There is a playground which was right outside our gate which was great for our 8 year old, he wanted to stay longer. Swimming pool and spa is a bonus. The hosts take pride in this place and are very friendly, we hope to come back here again

Exceptionally clean and luxurious. Comfortable beds, lovely sheets beautiful decor. Beautiful NZ wool carpet in the Villas. Spa bath was wonderful, bathroom was so clean and modern. Property was absolutely stunning, loved that we could see the playground from our room so could watch the little one play with others yet our little courtyard was private. Wanted to stay forever.
