The hotel is located on the main road but very quiet, a few minutes walk from the center, the room is clean, spacious with great views. the staff were very friendly and nice, they organized us a visit to the bay by big boat which was great. Just a wonderful four nights on Cat Ba. The manager was amazing! So friendly, so helpful, so kind. Location was perfect in Cat Ba town. All the stores and restaurants you need are right around you, and you are a short walk from the canon fort and also to the beaches. It’s also a short journey to the main access point to the bay and the islands. The apartment was fantastic. It is a new establishment, but everything is well put together. This didn’t bother us, but be aware that we ended up having to provide our own soap and shampoo. Not a big deal at all to our family, but I know some people care. That said, these apartments are worth much more than the price and I doubt you can find a better deal in town.

The rooms were lovely and very clean, we were in block 3 so there is a bit of walking between the blocks to use some of the facilities. The hotel was overrun with families, no tables available and the food for dinner was cold at times. It is a lovely hotel but the dining room was like a holiday camp at times. Definitely not a 4 star hotel but the staff were very pleasant and helpful and stored our bags for us safely on our last day. The bedrooms were clean and spacious but the hotel had vacant spots around almost unused. We had to have dinner 1 night in block two and it was chaos we arrived 15 mins after dinner started and no tables left inside we sat outside but no drinks service. The 2nd night they opened restaurant in block 3 which was a little better not as overcrowded. Breakfast was good and a large selection. If staying I wouldn’t go half board.
