Every morning the Mar Hotel serves a buffet breakfast. Guests can relax in the sauna or plunge in the hot tub, or even work out in the gym. Great hotel at the ocean and with free parking. We stayed only one night, but the room and the service was great. We left early to the airport and could not stay for breakfast.

At the apartment complex, units have bed linen and towels. it’s a huge apartment and the photos don’t do Justice for the beauty. it’s much more beautiful in reality and beyond expectations. The host is very friendly and willing to help, the pool is great and so is the view to the ocean. the Vila is huge and everything is new.

Set in Praia da Vitória, Quinta Rico - House II offers a patio with pool and city views, as well as a year-round outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home offers an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. The house and it’s location overlooking the ocean was exceptional. It came fully equipped with everything you needed, including plug adapters, washing liquids, shampoo, shower gel, basic cooking ingredients (oils, vinegars, herbs and spices etc). Loved the wine cabinets where you can buy wines provided by Hugo at supermarket prices. We were left a welcome basket containing breads, biscuits, cheese, fruit juice etc and even got the chance to try some of Hugo’s fabulous home brew! The location is great with Angra being only half an hour drive. There are a few little supermarkets close by to the house but I would recommend stocking up at the larger ones in town.

Quinta Rico offers air conditioning in the dining and kitchen area. Five rooms are available, one single bedroom, 3 double bedrooms and one with a double and a single bed. The 2 bathrooms offer shower, bath, bidet and hairdryer. The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. We had a very good time at Terceira, having Quinta Rico as out base. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a really nice plus. Perfect for families or groups of friends.

With its privileged location on Angra’s Main Square, the Azoris Angra Garden – Plaza Hotel is well-positioned to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Renovated in June 2018, the property is framed by the Municipal Gardens featuring a bar and a panoramic terrace.

Guests can benefit from on-site spa treatments, from massages to sauna and hot tub. They can also swim in the indoor pool. Breakfast was vert good. Reception area staff were nice, friendly, courteous and very willing to help.
