Set in Călimăneşti, 300 metres from Cozia AquaPark, RIVER Hotel & SPA offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a shared lounge. Everything was perfect! The hotel room was spacious, had very nice design and offered great views to the mountain and river (we were at the 3rd floor). The matress was very comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. The bedroom and bathroom were very well organized and practical. The bathroom has a spacious shower and a lot of space to place personal items on. The room had a nice balcony. Everything was spotless. All staff was one of the most friendly that I have encountered. The spa was very well organized and spotless, included an indoor-outdoor thermal pool, children pool, 2 saunas, showers, nice music and massage room. The restaurant has amazing food, and breakfast was very variate and delicious. One of the best breakfast experiences for us. Hotel's own good and spacious parking space was available for free. Riverside landskapes and riverside walking path are close to the hotel. 5 star experience for us and we we are looking forward to visit again this hotel.

Close to the ski slopes, considering the lack of accommodations in the area. The apartment has 3 large bedrooms each with double beds. Centralised but also individual room heating control. Floor heating in the rooms. Fireplace in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen. Barbeque and sauna available in common spaces. Friendly staff. Clean area and a nice dog who kept us company everytime we were in the garden. Suitable for family and groups.

The location is very good for kids. It's in a quiet area and has a large yard where kids can roam freely. The gate is closed so there's not danger of them going outside. The host was very nice and helpful. We had a very nice evening with him and a couple of other guests. There is a good restaurant within walking distance. There are a couple of more restaurants nearby but you must go by car. The Voineasa resort doesn't offer much in itself. It's old and rundown but you can go around by car and enjoy the wonderful mountain scenery.
