It’s a bit of walking.
It’s a bit of walking. Especially if you are going to the opera house as well. So travel light. If you have small kids (or a tired Grandma) take one of those fold up beach trolleys ($75 from Kmart) those things are priceless when lugging kids and stuff around! (And tired Grandmas)

Everything is a stone throw from the Quay view Opera House, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair visit the historical Rocks have a beer in the oldest pubs in Sydney a few claim to be.
Macquarie Street is a walk up the road there is an amazing amount of history in this street, the first signs from penal colony to a colony, might be best during the week where you can access some of the buildings.
If none of that suits just sit and enjoy the worldof circular key coffee and watching the world go by

Take time to figure out how to use the transportation card - some news and cafe stores sell them and then you load the cards by paying using your credit card and can use the card for ferries and trains.
Loading the card with more credit card payments is tricky - May need to go to a store and have them load the card for you.

Great place to spend a day or two; plenty to see and do (cafe's, restaurants, tours, etc.) and a good place to make a base for a Sydney trip. Nice to come back at the end of a busy day and take in the scenery of the sun setting over the city from the quay.

The facilities and cleanliness where very good. The house was charming. The host that met us on arrival was informative and friendly. Also, the location was excellent, walking distance to Circular Quay.
The location was great. Straight across the road from Museum Station and within walking distance of the shops. Very easy walk to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. Beds were comfortable. Front of house staff were very friendly.
Love the location, next to Circular Quay, Wynyard station, supermarket, underpass to Barangaroo. Short walk to city centre. Tasty, reasonably-priced room service. One bedroom apartment has electric blinds, a separate TV room with a long sofa and a functional kitchenette.
the room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the harbour, and the bed was very comfortable, and it was so quiet, we slept like babies. The Hotel is in a great location, close to the Rocks and Circular Quay, and just a 6 minute walk for us to do the bridge climb. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the Altitude restaurant which we loved.
The proximity to Circular Quay was a welcome feature. The staff were friendly, helpful and sincere and gave every indication that they enjoyed working at the hotel. The hotel was located in a quiet and respectable area.
What to say? Simply perfect, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us with everything. The room and bed are very comfortable, with attention to several pillows (we liked it). The location is perfect and is very well served by train and bus, several establishments around. 10 minutes from Circular Quay. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had, lots of quality options and it's well worth the price.
The room was clean, the bathroom was excellent - spacious and clean. However, the communal space in the hotel was not that inviting, perhaps it requires a bit of a revamp/update. The beds were a little hard, but it was okay to sleep in for one night. The location is fantastic! Close to Darling Harbour, the QVB and Town Hall Station, and Coles and Woolies supermarkets, as well as the tram to Circular Quay.
Excellent location in the heart of the city walking distancefor tourist attractions.also 333 bus stop for Bondi to circular quay(opera house and bridge) and other beaches just around the corner on Oxford st.Only15minutes by train from the Airport to measum. And then 2 minute walk to apartment.
Apartment was clean and great facilities. Including roof top pool, gym and jacuzzi with fabulous views of the city, especially at night.
Inna is an excellent host and very helpful for any questions to maximise your time in sidney
We like this hotel due to its location, being close to circular quay and we have stayed here before and really enjoy this hotel. really good breakfast.
Really nice hotel at a great location in Sydney. Close to Museum train station for easy airport access, and also for very quick access to Circular Quay (which is also walking distance for most people).
My room was very spacious and clean with a nice view. The rooftop pool is lovely, if a little small.
Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of options.
I would certainly recommend this hotel.

What guests said about Circular Quay:
We had dinner at one of the Circular Quay restaurants 'the Sydney Oyster Cove' and being a coeliac was excited to see gluten free on the menu, however my meal wasn't gluten free when it arrived just ruined the dining experience, especially considering the cost of the food and drinks
Weekly train ticket is probably the cheaper option if you want to venture further afield than the CBD. However it is rather expensive and cost $84 for the weekly ticket, but this still was the cheaper option for us as we were visiting lots of places and we were only there for 4 days, so gave our ticket away to some others at the airport. The cost of staying in a hotel in the CBD was expensive as well. Wouldn't stay and dine in the CBD again because of the cost.
