We always enjoy a walk across the bridge.
We always enjoy a walk across the bridge. Easy to access via public transport. Catch the train to Milsons Point. Climb stairs to bridge walk and enjoy the views as you cross. Descend into the Rocks shopping area and walk around to Circular Quay.

You can walk across the bridge from the "Harbour Bridge Stairs on Cumberland Street, The Rocks - this is on the Southern or CBD side of the City. The best time is early morning to watch the sunrise behind the opera house.

The location meant it was a lovely 25min stroll past the warships and through the botanic Gardens to get down to the opera house and circular Quay. They gave the kids free ice cream literally 24/7 so my children thought it was fantastic!

The room was on a lower floor and quite close to the Quay so there was quite a bit of city noise, if one had the door open (closed, no problems at all) but we didn't mind as the location, room made it absolutely worthwhile.
