Bendigo is fortunate that its forefathers constructed...
Bendigo is fortunate that its forefathers constructed significant buildings and gardens along the creek where gold was found. Rosalind Park is extensive and beautifully maintained. In about an hour or so we parked near the glasshouse, walked past the sandstone school buildings up to the poppet head, down past the waterfalls to the fountain in the centre of town, past Queen Victoria and back to our parking spot. An essential part of any trip to Bendigo.

Located right next to the Bendigo Art Gallery, Pall Mall and Rosalind park, it was easy to walk anywhere you wanted to see, and there are a multitude of cafes, shops, etc right out the door.
