Staff were eager to accommodate. Left my phone outside on window ledge night of check inn, Was obv gone by morning.(not one of my smoother moments!) Motel employees went above and beyond next AM reviewing camera footage to get it back for me! Was almost 100 it was gone after being left overnight in the downtown area so needless to say I was pretty happy. Having security on site was definitely reassuring.

I liked the restaurant we ate supper at ( can't remember but it was a top rated steak house) as well as Fiftys diner for brunch.
We went along the beautiful beach walkway.
People were very friendly and helpful.
The streets are easy to navigate. We had fun at the casino but became lost after exiting...ending up in Corbeil but found our way to Hwy 17 and got back to the hotel fairly easily. The hotel stay was pleasant.

The cabin was amazing.
The cabin was amazing.
Cozy, comfortable, clean and overall just so relaxing.
It’s been nicely updated, well kept and offers a very quiet and peaceful experience despite being on the main road. The placement of the rooms blocks out most sound and noise from the road and rooms are well insulated which also helps block out any outside noises.
The staff were wonderful. Polite, reasonable, very friendly and eager to help in any way they can.
Overall the experience was much better than we had expected for the price point, and we would absolutely go again.
Definitely a lovely little place to relax for the weekend!

North Bay is a charming town.
North Bay is a charming town. Be careful where you get lodging, though, because some places misrepresent their access to the beach. I was there at the very end if the season, and the price if my non-beach motel was too high.
Every Friday, there is a very dood dinner at the Legion Hall near Callander, which is open to the public. Excellent steak the night I was there for $22CDN (Not the one in North Bay.) Not very friendly people, though.

Nice lakefront city with quite a history of Ontario northern railroading. The lake is impressive and must have been quite a challenge to cross by canoe. I would treat it with lots of respect.
Nice sandy beaches strewn with the usual beach debris (should be cleaned more often by city).
Stay a few days as there are lots of sights to see around North Bay.
Nice hotel--clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Good kitchen with dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Good breakfast included, and one of the nicer exercise rooms we've had in our month-long trip across Eastern Canada. Hotel is situated on one of the many connecting bike paths through town. Nice farmer's market 10-minute walk (max). Very helpful and friendly staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast crew, to housekeeping.
Very bad experience overall. Please have to be called for an out of control customer with a jet engine screamer on his Little Audi car and he was drunk and knocking on people's doors in the hotel. Wouldn't even refund me after. I was only there for 2 fucking hours after a twelve hour drive.
I had to leave because it was right outside my door and there was four of us staying on that bottom floor we all left. Not one ounce of courtesy.
I love that it’s family-run. There’s even a little playground for kids. Front desk lady is super nice and friendly. The rooms are modern/newly renovated, absolutely spotless and very well-maintained. That alone is very rare in most places I’ve stayed. The provided toiletries were fantastic and the AC was functional. All in all way better than most big chain hotels by far!
It felt like I was ‘home’. Access to beach and running trail made returning from work feel like I wasn’t trapped in a room. Also, the Wednesday evening ‘social’ with complimentary snacks was incredible. I will absolutely return and stay at this location every time I go to north bay!
The staff was welcoming and friendly. My room was very clean and spacious. It was very quiet. I had a very good night sleep. The breakfast provided was very good and filling. The location was very good and convenient. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it.
We love it there. Everything was just perfect! We were even able to bring our dog, and there was no issues whatsoever. We will go back again, the owners are so nice and helpful. Thanks again for a much needed mini vacay in beautiful North Bay! 🌞
The breakfast was good. It could have been better. There weren't enough fruits. No bananas, cantaloupe, grapes, etc.
Room was adequate for my needs.
Location was too far away from where I did most of my visit in North bay.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. I loved the waffles. Room was clean and fairly quiet.
It is an older hotel, but we'll maintained. Basic amenities, well worth thr price.
This is our favorite place to stay when we go to North Bay! Comfortable, clean nice size rooms! The hosts are super nice people and very conscientious about the cleanliness of the property!
The staff was amazing and the room is one of the best we’ve stayed in.
We stay in hotels at least 5 times a month for work and I would go here even if it was a trip for leisure not work.
I stay at sunset when l need to travel to north bay. It is wonderful!! The owners are so welcoming and the pride and care they take at their Inn really shows. Always enjoy my stay
