Do not get led into a tea ceremony with so called students.
Do not get led into a tea ceremony with so called students. They are not students and the yes ceremony will cost you a fortune. We had to push our way out of a small house and run to get away from the people and the students.

As an English speaker they didn't always understand my request, but went out of their way to understand even if it was directions or leaving our bags. Hotel was tucked away off the street, but so close to everything The Bund had to offer and Yu Garden. Super clean, very modern. Zero complaints and would stay there again in any city.

The location is perfect, easy access to Shanghai sites. 10 mins walk to Yu Garden, 15 min easy walk to the Bund, metro is also very close. Great substantial buffet breakfast with a lovely terrace area overlooking the skyline! My room was clean and comfortable with all the things needed! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The AC in the room was not great, and it looked absolutely horrid inside, like it hasn't been cleaned in a decade. But everything else was pretty good.

The fact that the subway station is less that 5 - 6 minutes from the hotel is a plus. It is central and we stayed there for 6 nights to explore Shanghai and surrounds.

So did not have any issues with Noise. The new restaurant on the top floor is worth checking out, and if it was summer the roof garden would be amazing at night time. The Metro is right outside the hotel so getting to places is very easy. The Yuan Shopping Mart and Yu garden is only one block away so very easy to walk to.

Travelling for work and staying just one night, it was great as we were in walking distance to restaurants and bars as well as lots of places to buy last minute souvenirs. The hotel came with breakfast included and all contents of the mini bar were free, which was a really nice added extra. The rooms were quite big with a shower and large bed. Nice and warm and clean.

It is five minutes away from a central metro station; the Bund, the Yu Garden, and the Shangai museums are all walking distance and can be reached on foot in 15 minutes or less. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious, and had a nice bathroom. Overall, the breakfast was OK (croissants were not very tasty/good). If you fancy a beer or a nice cocktail, there is a nice bar next to the hotel.
