Bring bottled water.
Bring bottled water. I brought 2 litters per person and saved so much money, time & effort by doing so. Europa-park does NOThave any water refil station. Also next to the Sports bar in the England area is the only little kiosk stand that serves Ben & Jerry's & possibly Slush-ice in a souvenir cup. Get your cool refreshments from there.

Come early and go to the other side of the park straight...
Come early and go to the other side of the park straight away and work your way back through the attractions. You'll catch up with the crowds inevitably, but you might find shorter queues for first few rider. Silver Star is worth the hype, remember to relax and let go of your body to experience the free fall sensation, it's worth it, and don't be put off by the queue. We visited the park in August with a 22, 19, and 11 year old, all of us from the United States. Europa Park was a great entire day for everyone in our family! The park is divided into countries, and each area highlights that country’s meals, snacks, characters, and designs. The park is very beautiful and green—I would say a bit like Dollywood. I always give my family the “This is NOT Disney World” speech, so they slow down and enjoy all amusement parks for their own strengths. It has theme hotels and meals on property that look fun, but were entirely booked during our visit. Europa Park is in a rural area, so most of the local lodging is more bed and breakfast. There are some walkable B&Bs. As for its shows, we enjoyed the horse show, and the high diving pirate shows because they were unique, and we did not need to understand the German-spoken storyline. Mostly, the shows are not for non-German speakers. I really enjoyed eating lunch in the shady hamburger and Coke area by a river ride. The kids’ tractor ride, car ride, and DaVinci Flying Machine ride were pretty rides no matter what age you are, and I enjoyed them immensely. Arrive before park opens to avoid stress, as there were hundreds of cars in line when we arrived right at opening time. We stayed until close which was around 6:00 pm and ate dinner while exiting park, as not many restaurants outside of park. The park closes early by US timeframe. The workers are local and very kind. It was a full and lovely day, and a nice experience in summer to slow down and feel like you’ve experienced many European countries in one day. I would not have wanted to miss it!

Amazing experience.
Amazing experience. Anyone who appreciates a good, wild roller coaster, this is the place for you to be. The park is vast, so I would recommend booking tickets for a couple of days, although just a day is also good. It displays roller coasters from almost every european country. One of the fastest, wildest roller coasters in the world, Silver star, is a must!! Remember to held your breath before the free fall. Oh, and pack an extra pair of socks... just in case. Poseidon can get you quite wet :D although you can always dry off in the machines displayed at the end of water rollercoasters. Enjoy!

the best ever theme park you may visit no matter what age you are, where you can have both thrill time and on the other hand you can enjoy a relaxing cost day at the parks and lakes, flowers, as well as restaurants. visited it with family 3 times and everybody would like to come again

Can’t understand why more Brits don’t visit this fantastic theme park! It’s way better than Euro Disney, Portaventura is a close second but this has fantastic rides, is huge ( ideally 3 days to see it all at a sensible pace) amazing restaurants with quality food and is so reasonably priced for all the amazing attractions. We have an eight year old who was totally delighted with his time here and we’d love to go again. It’s just an hours flight away from the UK ( we used Basle airport and hired a car.) The Park is very beautiful, clean and even over a busy Easter week we only queued a max of an hour for the mega rides, unlike up to 2-3 hours for similar Disney Florida rides. Highly recommended, it’s a cross between Disney and Epcot in style but has its own unique charm being in the Black Forest area. So glad we made the effort to visit.
