Bite the bullet and buy a fast track ticket.

Bite the bullet and buy a fast track ticket. It goes against everything I believe in and yes it is a lot more money on top of your ticket price but unfortunately it can take over and hour to get on one ride so your day can disappear stood in a massive queues.

    Too many queues.

Too many queues. Fast track scheme expensive. £6 car park fee exorbitant having already spent a fortune. Spent £7 on refillable drinks cups only to find many kiosks had run out of the drink or the gas wasn't working so has to walk miles for a drink.

Perfect location for a family gathering celebrating my daughters 30th Birthday. We did run out of logs (was in January) but a very kind man, brought us two more baskets full on the Saturday morning. Hot Tub was inspected and cleaned also on both mornings 👍 Great pub, 10 minutes walk down the lane. And aprox 10 minutes from Alton Towers. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

Louise was a lovely host, nice welcome when arriving, and shown my room which was very well presented. A lovely view across the valley and very quiet and peaceful. A nice area not to far from the main routes including Alton Towers and JCB Factory. Breakfast is served downstairs with a selection of cereals/fruit toast etc and then a lovely cooked breakfast made to order which was very enjoyable. A lovely little place will stay again next time I am in the area.

We came for Alton Towers, so the location is perfect for that - couldn’t imagine you could stay closer aside from the on-site hotel! The room was a great size, bed incredibly comfortable and lots and lots of little touches to make your stay great. The TV built into the bed & the Alexa in the room just gonna me a couple. We will definitely be coming to stay with Phil & Helen again, very friendly and hospitable people to spend a couple nights with. Plus the breakfast is amazing - especially the sausages included in the Full English.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were lovely and interacted with all the guests. We had an amazing meal in the evening and the breakfast was very tasty too with plenty of choice. The location was ideal as we had a 2 day pass to Alton Towers Resort. Would definitely recommend an overnight stay as a cheaper alternative to staying at the Alton Towers Resorts Hotels.
