Stunning beach with plenty opportunity for seal watching from the beach itself . The beach has a hotel that faces the sea - I must stay there in the future ! Good toilet facilities and a restaurant and bar . Limited parking though .

Very attractive but beach is privately owned, and beachside facilities are all part of the hotel, which are very good but quite expensive. A variety of shops, eating places, and a Tesco supermarket are located at the top of Carbis Bay, but this involves a very steep walk if you are on foot.. There is a lovely walk along the coast between Carbis Bay and St. Ives as an alternative to the train. There are also walking opportunities in the other direction.

This weekend break was for my son and daughter in law. The room was of high standard, breakfast was freshly made and amazing. The host's were really friendly. Information pack in the room was very informative. They will definitely stay here again. They are giving it 5 stars.

Another beautiful area of St.
Another beautiful area of St. Ives. Expect hills if you are walking back from Carbis Bay, but well worth it. The little train stops there from St. Ives and it is the next stop, but double check as certain trains bypass this stop, however, there are plenty that don't so grab a timetable.

The location to the beach was the selling point of this hotel. Within a 5 min walk you were on the sand, next to a great beach BBQ and restaurant (you need to book in advance! Highly recommend). We had amazing weather so we didn't have to be in the hotel much and so the location was brilliant in terms of getting into town or accessing to 2 min rail way to Carbis Bay. Rooms with a sea view offer a specular view of Porthmister Beach... just a shame you have to be in your hotel room.

From £115 per nightFabulous location. Easy to get to the beach either by bus or a pleasant walk along the coastal path. The views from our apartment were amazing, couldn’t have asked for more. The rooms were spotless. Local beaches are immaculate. We were lucky to have exceptional weather. Carbis bay can compete with any Mediterranean resorts, we’d definitely recommend the location. There is also a vegetarian restaurant downstairs, meals smelly gorgeous and very popular with locals.

Stayed in one of the beach villas for four days. Stunning location on the beach with close views of the sheer power of the sea and beautiful Carbis Bay. The decor was sumptuous and an excellent venue for a family. Loved the privacy and ready access to the hotel and six restaurants. Restaurants were fabulous and ranged from fine dining through a range of styles, all sumptuous varied and sophisticated. Lovely lounge by the log fire. Really great experience!

Breakfast was delicious, good selection and full English was perfect. Anne and Carla on reception were extremely helpful throughout our stay , with good advice for places to visit and restaurants. Unfortunately we had very wet weather but it was very cosy and welcoming to come back to the hotel and dry off. The Carbis Bay beach , only a short walk away is stunning and a “must” to visit.
