It is renowned world wide and many famous people have beaten a path to view this great railway bridge. Much photographed and filmed. The views from the dining room were spectacular. It helped that the weather was warm and they could fold back the window wall to see the new Forth bridge uninterrupted. It’s what makes this hotel stand out from others. Otherwise it’s a lovely hotel and what you would expect from a 5*. Nicely decorated, friendly staff, high quality food and service.

The hotel is clean. The room was large, comfortable and very well appointed. The food in the restaurant - including breakfast - was exceptional. Main thing about this hotel is the location and the incredible view of the three Forth Bridges. If your room has a view of the bridges, as ours did, it must rank as one of the best hotel room views anywhere! Strongly recommended!
