I have been a fan of Laurel & Hardy since I was a kid and had no idea that Stan Laurel had grown up in Ulverston. The Museum is based in between two cinemas. There was all sorts of memorabillia there and you could also sit and watch some of their films which was great....I was trying not to laugh out too loud!!

Make sure you have plenty of time, its cheap entrance fee and you can watch films all day. The young lad who takes admission was friendly and knowledgeable. A lovely day out for the family of Laurel and Hardy fans that came from Birmingham
