London Eye

I spy with my little eye, something beginning with ... L. Get a god’s-eye view of London atop this giant Ferris Wheel on the South Bank. The glass pods hold up to twenty-five people per pod and were designed to represent each of London's 32 boroughs. Infinitely popular, it does exactly as it claims – it takes you up, then it takes you down!

somewhat underwhelming. if you don't get the fast track option expect around a 30 min wait. views are surprisingly obstructed on the opposite side of the Thames - couldn't even see the gherkin! I did expect it to be far more spectacular than what it was.

Location perfect Not a noisy hotel, rooms are silent 200mtr from metro lambeth north (bakerloo line) excellent for travelling the city. Fine pub across the street for some nice drafts and pub food Short walk to the london eye at south bank, westmister, westmister abbey, and big ben. Breakfast is fine with nice hosts who will seat you. Opt out for housekeeping and you will get a complimetary bottle of wine if you choose to. When i am for business and leisure in London i will choose Park Plaza Waterloo, no doubt

Close to the London eye and in a great location. There was a small kitchenette which was well equipped with a fridge, microwave and kettle. It also had a small hob and utensils so great if you want to prepare food. Everything was clean and well maintained. There is a small bar area to get a drink and some food. Staff were helpful and were always on hand to help out if needed. They stored our luggage for us on our last day too. We used the nearby shop for breakfast and bits we needed which was handy too.
