Very difficult to drive and park there.
Very difficult to drive and park there. A lovely looking environment but it was nearby Treyarnon Bay that was our reason for loving Padstow. We would highly recommend the YHA at Treyarnon Bay so that you can park. Great place to have a beach BBQ under that stars so best to park at sundown and avoid the traffic jams on the Cornish lanes to the beach.

The Harbour is small but clean and tidy, there are various boat trips when in season and the passenger ferry to Rock. A village on the opposite side of the estuary. If you like folk law and history be there on 1st May. Padstow Obby Oss day. With precessions, dancing with the age old Obby Oss.

Everything required for a self contained stay was available I.e. cutlery, dishes, glasses, etc as well as logs and coal for the fire.

Amazing views looking out over Padstow harbour and across the water to Rock. Situated in a great location 5 mins drive or a 20min walk across muddy fields/footpath to Padstow Harbour. A short drive to wonderful beaches. The lodge is in a very peaceful setting overlooking the countryside. Lovely to relax on the deck after a day out. Very helpful owners, great communication.

The Key safe is a great benefit for security and safety. The shower is wonderful and roomy. Excellent gas water boiler means you get constant and almost immediate hot water. Always good to have Wi-fi connection that works as this does very well. Kitchen seems to be a new kitchen with plenty of space and reasonably well equipped.AndrewUnited Kingdom
