The Botanical gardens are just across the road with glasshouses as well as the cemetery gardens and it’s amazing history. You can walk, cycle or run from Endcliffe park just up the road to the Peak District. We were worried we would miss the TV but there is so much to do in the area you just don’t. The apartment has been beautifully furnished in the period it was built and is very cosy.

The room was impeccable, and we appreciated the Nespresso machine in our room. The top up station for treats, extra teas and coffees and fresh milk was also very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very friendly. It was excellent value for money.

Decent room - comfy bed/pillows with a decent amount of hanging space for clothes, plus a good shower in the bathroom. Breakfast - again pleasant staff and a good choice of food. Facilities - a comfortable bar, pleasant dining room (although I ate in the bar this time) Location - very close to the Botanical Gardens and the shops/cafes/restaurants on Eccleshall Rd.
