Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is a marvel of historic London architecture. Bordered by monumental museums, embassies and the National Gallery, this city-centre square is a focal point for celebrations, cultural events and rallies alike. At its heart, Admiral Nelson surveys the city from a 44-metre column, while four enormous bronze lions guard the ground below.

Make sure there is not some form of function/celebration or protest. Trafalgar Square was entirely closed up & decorated for Chinese New year & I felt that took away from one of London's iconic features

Wonderful place with easy access to National Gallery and the Portrait Gallery is just around the back. Both have good cafes to eat and good Gallery shops. Often there are performers in this Square which adds to the atmosphere.Kids love climbing on the bronze lions.

The maintenance is excellent, and the responsiveness of the staff is very high and welcoming. There is a business room where you can drink hot drinks and water freely all day. The place is spacious and very pleasant to use. The hotel's location is excellent; it is adjacent to Trafalgar Square, near a central train station, and many London attractions.

Location is not even 2 mins walk from Trafalgar Square, and very close to a lot of the theatres for the West End Shows. Rooms are pretty basic as in room, shower, toilet, and a few coat hangers but very clean, comfortable and if booking in advance great value for money. Have stayed in two times now and I will again.

The location was excellent right on Trafalgar Square and almost backing on to the Mall and St James Park. Breakfast was lovely in the rooftop restaurant. The only issue was that the price we were charged didn’t match the booking price however I raised this with the Hotel and was refunded the difference with no problem. The staff were really friendly and helpful! We were originally there for a 2 night stay but we enjoyed it so much, we stayed another night!

Great location by River Thames/ Charing Cross Station / Trafalgar Square. Lovely reception staff, lovely room (surprisingly quiet for centre of London). Very secure, required room card to gain access to the lobby from the street, and to gain access to room floor levels via the lift. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on it.

This hotel was in the perfect location for my needs. Although probably less than two minutes walk to Trafalgar Square it was very quiet. The receptionist was extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The room was spotlessly clean and had all that we needed for a short stay. There were complimentary cheese wine and biscuits in the evening of our stay which was very welcome. There was a lift to the upper floors, and breakfast was good. This hotel was very good value by London standards. I would certainly be very happy to stay here again.
