We booked the hotel for its proximity to Durham University and we were not disappointed. Within minutes, we were on the Bailey. Due to the university event, breakfast was full of parent + young person pairs and there was plenty of food and beverages. The staff was very friendly. I'll certainly be back.

The location was convenient as I could easily access restaurants, church, train station and Durham university while walking. The pub noise downstairs wasn’t overwhelming and the supplies like the kettle was convenient to make tea regularly. Also the internet was better than at the School so that helped a lot.
