Our main event was Bill Bailey at the Utilita arena in Newcastle centre, but it's so easy to get back to Jesmond from the centre of town. Metro and bus - 2 good services. Breakfast - very tasty. Always fresh and plenty variety. Evening meal - we ate here on the Friday evening. The loaded fries were fab! Very reasonable priced. Bar/pub - caters for everyone. Always busy, but not intimidating.

The location was perfect for the Utilita arena. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice - I’m a coeliac. Lovely gluten free seeded bread for toast. We also had dinner in the hotel which was very nice - again, there was GF choices.

My room was exactly as I expected, a nice large bed, TV, and well equipped with tea/coffee, and a good bathroom. USB charging points next to the bed are *always* a massive bonus? Fantastic location, very easily walkable from the train station and the Utilita Arena. Pretty much in the absolute heart of the city too! Bed was really comfy, was nice and quiet too. Nice late check out time too!

It was so close we were back in our room very quickly after the concert. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant was reasonable. The room itself was as expected.
