It was interesting to go all the way up to the top 18th fl to check in. Breakfast was also up there too. Had great food and being on the 18th floor also meant you can have your breakfast whilst looking at the expansive view of the city. It was a bit tricky to find the location based on Google Maps. There was a great ramen place a couple of blocks over that is not listed on Google, yet the cook was very friendly and explained in his limited English what the menu on the ticket machine was. Gave off 'Midnight Diner' vibes.

A bit disappointed with the room provided as we were family of 4 with 2 teenage children, so we booked 2 rooms. The room provided was smoking and I was told that I did not request for non-smoking room during booking and hence smoking room was provided. The room was smelling, and it was unbearable. Hotel was booked out, so could not change the rooms, but the staff provided air purifiers for the room.
The location of the hotel is the most wonderful thing as it is close to train station as well as walking distance to shopping street and the famous Dotonbori.
