Very nice stuff, despite the common language, they managed to informed me as best they could. Hirosaki castle is about 30 min walking distance, 17 min by bus or 10 by taxi.

Some interesting history to be discovered in the house. The tatami were wonderful, as was the yukata provided. There is a great restaurant opposite and near the food street. This is our 2nd stay at Dormy Inn and we absolutely love it. The rooms are big and comfortable. They have an ofuro, public bath, but did not use it both times went to Dormy Inn (first one in Himeji). The breakfast spread excellent.
