Clean modern décor, nice and friendly staff (which is almost a norm in Taiwan), central location - near to the famous Fengjia Night Market 逢甲夜市. Most of the attractions in Taichung is quite spread out and not in the city centre. We got the hotel front desk to recommend a daily-rated taxi to bring us around and the driver was excellent - great driving around the hilly roads.
