San Antonio has done a good job connecting this side of I-35 to downtown with well lit streets and wide sidewalks. It is quite possible to leave your car at the hotel and walk downtown. The hotel is a good price for what you get, a simple stay, free parking, a good bed and clean bathroom.

I also liked the convenience of parking options for my car. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived early, and they were able to check me into a room. I was expecting to wait until check-in time, but they were able to accomated me early. That was appreciated. They have dining at the hotel- ruth chris steak house, or you can eat on the Riverwalk. Access to the river walk is right at the hotel, too.
