Cambridge is beautiful, a fascinating place, but we were running around for several work events and didn't see much. VERY congested, so we relied on Lyfts to get around. But, so much to see, packed with beautiful historic architecture. Lots of trendy food places (often a little strange).

Cambridge is an easy, safe and picturesque place to walk around. The streets are clean, the parks are beautifully maintained and there is stunning historic architecture, as well as quaint shops and eateries everywhere. We particularly enjoyed seeing the beautiful Memorial Hall. It's a pity visitors can't look inside, into the Annenberg Hall dining area, but we appreciate that the Harvard students may not like an audience whilst eating : ). The Harvard University of Natural History is fantastic and the Glass Flowers exhibit is a must-see! Being a rower, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful Weld Boathouse and Newell Boathouse and watching crews row up and down the Charles River. If you love books, The COOP bookstore is well worth a visit and if you enjoy ice-cream, I would highly recommend getting a Taiyaki (Japanese ice-cream) from Taiyaki NYC in Church Street. The ramen at Boston Ramen at 24 Holyoke Street was delicious and I would highly recommend grabbing a waffle and coffee from the food truck parked in the Harvard Science Center Plaza. If you're going into Boston, I would highly recommend the Boston Tea Party Ships and museum experience (an excellent interactive, re enactment experience), having a ride on the beautiful Greenway Carousel and walking through the Boston Common, seeing the 'Make way for ducks' statue and, for the 'Cheers' tv series fans, visiting the Cheers bar.

Comfy room, clean and modern with friendly staff.
Comfy room, clean and modern with friendly staff. Booked in advance, was quoted $186 tax included. But, at check-in I was notified that it cost $25 per day, per parking spot and a $75 fee that would be returned (5 to 7 days) after checkout. Plus they wanted $20 per person for breakfast. Total: $326 for 2 people for one night. Nice place, but won't spend that to stay there again.

It's in a good location for Cambridge, and even not far from Boston amenities. It is NOT right near Harvard campus, though, if that's what you're looking for ... but not far.
The facility is fine - an inn, not a hotel, but with room amenities of a hotel.

If you walk to Harvard, you can enjoy watching red leaves on the way.
As Harvard square is a walking distance, shopping, sightseeing and joining conference are very convenient. You can enjoy Continental and sophisticated atmosphere because the University of Harvard is very near.

Cambridge is much nicer than Boston, and the Harvard Campus...
Cambridge is much nicer than Boston, and the Harvard Campus is wonderful to walk around, with big trees and lots of open spaces. There are good restaurants too - we really enjoyed The Druid Irish pub. There is also a lot to see and do. Two days was too short to go to everything we wanted to visit.
The rooms were well appointed and clean. The addition of a cafe table and window nook seating was useful. The hotel is well located with walking access to MIT and walking/bus/T/car access to Harvard. It was very easy to find metered street parking, and you do not pay between about 6 pm and 8 am. Download the Cambridge parking app, and you can add two hours on your street parking as soon as you wake up. There are three or four bakeries within a three-block walk for morning breakfast, including a Japanese bakery inside the H Mart.
Location is about the only plus being near Harvard Yard and with parking. Otherwise this is an old Cambridge house which has not seen much remodeling. There were no other rooms with private bath on my floor(2). The room was "basic" with very few electric outlets for charging computer and phone. shower was basic and the room was clean enough but "old" and slightly dingy. Okay for a one night stay but no great value for the room rate. I would rather pay more and have a comfortable, up to date facility.
Staff was very polite and did their very best to serve (it's always owners' decisions, not staff's, that ruin these places). But they were also oblivious to the fact that, as a Cambridge resident myself (unable to live in my own house this summer), I was not thrilled to hear that their group had bought up so many Cambridge houses to make them B & Bs that they cannot fill them. Perhaps, then, they shouldn't have made their small contribution to Cambridge's housing crisis in the way they did.
It's near Harvard square. Very convenient to walk to Harvard to attend a seminar.
There's a super market in the neighborhood, it doesn't cost much to have meals.
One can talk with each other at a common kitchen space underground in order to exchange some information.
I personally didn't need to change towels and bedsheets in 3days, for there were two bath towels and face towels.
The person at the reception desk taught me the geography there, for I was a first visitor.
This hotel is a gem. Impeccably decorated. The staff is warm and wonderful. Quiet, which is amazing given that it's right off busy Mass Ave and near Harvard Yard. The room was perfect. Small, but big enough to do everything we needed to do, including participating in several meetings via Zoom. Would definitely stay here again. This is a tough area to find a hotel, so we were grateful to discover this sweet spot.
The breakfast was amazing! Better then my wife and I planned. The gentleman who was at the desk on June 17th in the afternoon, helped us with our taxi and told us the best ways to get around town! He gets an A! The people who made breakfast were helpful and very nice! My wife and I really had a great time for our first time. Our next trip to Fenway we plan on going to this same hotel!
The place is pleasant, Metro station close by, food market in front of the hotel - you can have
breakfast and dinner with your own food in the hotel, in a pleasantly furnished room.
Rooms are nice, although not fancy - people at the reception ready to help solve your problems. High quality/money ratio - I would go back, given a chance to be once more in the Cambridge area
The location - near Harvard - was super. I stayed a couple of nights while using Harvard's library and it was perfect. Like the ability to make coffee or tea in a little shared kitchen area. Hosts were good about where the small nearby grocery was, and there was a small fridge in my room. There's also a Starbucks nearby. Friendly place - reminds me of British b&b's.
Great location if you want to walk to Boston, Science Museum, Basketball game, Kendall Square, MIT, etc.
The room was spacious, the bed was terrific, the bathroom large enough, and wonderful shower.
The hotel is nicely designed, easy to access, in front of a small shopping mall, the lobby has comfortable seats to have meetings.
Main reason for visiting Boston was Boston Marathon. Hotel is located in Cambridge, very closed to Boston city center.
Subway is in front of the hotel. A big supermarket is nearby hotel.
Room was very large with fridge and coffee maker. Room was cleaned daily. I have nothing to complain to the hotel, location or staff.
Very friendly staff at reception upon arrival. Good advice regarding where to eat (Mikes in Davis Sq - 15 min walk from hotel). Clean room - exceptionally comfy bed and pillows. Whilst we were there there was a problem on the tube into Boston. The reception ordered a taxi for us which was there within 10 mins.
Good breakfast for a 3star hotel. Very good location - at heart of MIT if this is what one is looking for. Parking very convenient - just behind the hotel with in/out privileges for not cheap but also not a huge amount. Good size room. Starbucks in the same building as the hotel with hotel access door.
Super location right near Central Square and a short walk to several key bus routes. Located at MIT, and a nice 20 min walk to Harvard. And Cambridge is so pretty. Hotel is updated and seemed to be managed well. Love the Keurig machine in the room and the water bottle filler near the ice machine.
The location is amazing. You can easily walk across the nearby pedestrian bridges to the heart of Boston. There are also a lot of great restaurants and bars in the area. Best part - you are right on the Charles River esplanade. A beautiful park space and walking path.
A very good place. Clean, pleasant, and quiet. A great convenience is the all-day access to coffee and tea, as well as cookies. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied. Very close to the center of Cambridge. About 20 minutes by subway to downtown Boston.
Well designed room, amazing looking bar, excellent shower pressure with great toiletries and a super comfy bed! It was also a 2 minute walk to the T (public transport) station, making it very convenient to get into Boston and Cambridge.
Excellent in every way. Professional and friendly service. Good rooms. Love the firehouse history. Breakfast was the best "American buffet breakfast" I have had outside of a 5 star hotel. Best bacon I've had in usa
Newly renovated and great condition
Good size rooms
Quiet
Great bikes just to take anytime
And canoes
Shops just behind the hotel
Easy walk across to Boston or down to Cambridge
