The location of the hotel is at the main city streets and if you took the hop on hop off excursions, one of the stop is actually at the hotel. The front desk staff named Indy is very helpful and accommodating. There is a deck upstairs for taking some nice pictures with the faraway Golden Gate Bridge as the background. Free parking spots are also available.

It’s easy to get to for most of the main sightseeing locations. The hotel building has some original and appealing features, and has much potential to return to its former glory. It just needs an investor to help renovate and bring it back to life which I really hope will happen as it has suffered a great deal following the 2020 pandemic consequences . The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

As a solo traveller I felt very safe and looked forward to resting here after a day of walking and exploring. The location was perfect for walking along the water and through Crissy Field to the Golden Gate Bridge. The hotel is a couple of blocks away from the marina, which is very pretty. Buses run frequently from just outside the hotel to the bridge and Fisherman's Wharf/North Beach.

The parking was really safe and well laid out so parking our large campervan was easy. The staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. The location is great close to the main cable cars lines and easy to get to Golden Gate Bridge, piers and Coit Tower. Definitely recommend walking to see the sealions at the left end of Pier 39. We rented E-bikes from Bay City bikes, which were fab, and went over the Golden Gate Bridge. Fisherman's wharf is crazy touristy, but a must see! Lovely resturant for breakfast and evening meal. 100 yards from cable car (tram) stop. Short walk to peir 39, sealions, shops and resturants, pier 35 (Alcatraz) and open top bus stop a. Highly recommend a cycle ride to Sausalito via the Golden Gate Bridge (ferry back). nd Lombard Street (wiggly). Try the clam chowder!
