Rockefeller Center
For the ultimate NYC sightseeing, head down to 30 Rockefeller Center – home of the NBC network, and the inspiration for Tina Fey’s comedy series, ‘30 Rock’. Take the lift up to the 70th floor observation deck – or ‘Top of the Rock’ – to see soaring skyscrapers and the vast green carpet of Central Park unfolding beneath you.

Busy place but chill crowd generally.
Busy place but chill crowd generally. Some nice shops, good takeout snacks and food in the concourse. Beautiful architecture either St. Patrick’s Cathedral across the street. It’s lovely. Pricy Top of the Rock but excellent vantage for photos.

Go to Top of the Rock for awesome views at day of Central Park and the Empire State Building. I finally went and I really enjoyed it. You can buy tickets on site for about $40 and can reserve your time for that day. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, and snack around the ground floor of the building.

Lobby & lower concourse areas open to the public, visit the fancy shops in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Beautiful black and polished brass decor screams luxury and style. View the magnificent Depression era murals as well - well worth a brief stop.

Lego store and the 100 year old toy store that is behind the center. The exciting part about this center is the fact your in the location of certain movies, other then that it is just a very expensive shopping mall

Great views of central park and the empire state building!
Great views of central park and the empire state building! Try to visit at sunset time and stay until the city lights are turned on! Its pure magic. However if you want to take photos of you with background the entire city prefer to go as early in the morning as possible to avoid crowds!

Location is excellent - only few minutes by foot to Central Park and very close to Times square, Maddison Square Garden, Rockefeller center and others. The room with a city view in NY city was a whole new experience for me, I wanted to take in the feeling of the city. Nice lounge in the 4th floor to have a drink and to relax between activities. Nice staff, quick response to whatever you need. You can deposit your lugagge on the last day to explore some more.
The location is the best anyone could ask for. Right next to Central Park West. Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall are all within a 20-minute walk from here. Single rooms are convenient and have privacy.
Location is great for being close to Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park. Close to several subway lines - very convenient. It felt a bit like stepping back in time - all the old trappings of the building are still in place (old mail chutes, original woodwork, movie-worthy square stairways). I liked having a tiny kitchen. Linens were clean and crisp, beds were comfortable.
Overall impression was really good. The room was comfortable. We had a view on Empire State Building - that is a huge plus. The hotel is located in excellent location - it is near to many places like Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central.
The location was incredible, so easy to walk to Rockefeller Center / Times Square, or to the train a couple blocks away to get anywhere else in the city. Rooms as described, very clean and they try to maximize storage. All guests and staff were super friendly. The cafe is a nice touch for breakfast food and coffee. Also fun bar downstairs that’s a convenient option to start or end your night in NYC. Wish we had tried the bottomless brunch - what a deal!
Our family had 3 rooms. 2 were excellent, comfortable, good view. One was a little small but fine. The manager was able to place us all together in adjacent rooms. Beds were fine, just average. Rooms otherwise excellent. What a SUPERB location to enjoy NYC: Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, Madison Square Garden, subways, train station all within easy access. The restaurant was also excellent, and bonus perks used at the bar, super. Thanks!
Absolutely perfect location - five minute walk to Rockefeller Center. Saks Fifth Avenue also minutes away. Hotel is warm and inviting, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Staff go above and beyond - bell hop, front desk, concierge. Room is immaculately clean and bigger than most in NYC. We could actually fit our suitcases and walk around. Bed was super comfortable and linens top quality. Highly recommend.
We had very nice stay, the hotel is clean and well located, you can reach Times square, Rockefeller center, Bryan park etc by walking. The room was a bit small but it had everything you can need. (the bathroom is not well isolated, and its separated just by sliding doors, just to keep in mind if sharing the room with not a close person). Breakfast was nice, personally i would prefer a bit more vegetables, but it was okay. In general we had a great stay during holiday season in the center of Manhattan.
Location is great! Just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, Broadway and the subway station is a few feet away. The hotel seems relatively new and very clean.

Utrolig serviceinnstilt og hjelpsomme. Vi var på Rockefeller Center og så etter toalett, vi så sikkert litt bortkomne ut, ung gutt som satt i en trapp spurte om vi lette etter noe? Og forklarte veien.
