You can take the free boat ride To see Ellis island and Statue of Liberty’… People outside the station or the pavilion of the boat , will ask you to buy tickets, please don’t get carried away with there words… just go inside the ferry pavilion and you will see it’s mentioned , it’s free ride for everyone….

Several subway stations of different lines nearby. Oculus has a direct subway station to JFK Airport (E line). Very comfortable large beds, refrigerator, safe, ironing board, iron in the room. The hotel has a cafe for breakfast and lunch (for an additional fee). There is also a microwave at the reception for hotel guests.

Easy access to bars, restuarants, subways and a short walk to the ferries to both Statue of Liberty and Brocklyn. There was a coffee machine, fridge and mircowave in in the room, you just asked at reception for extra coffee pots. We also liked that they didn't clean every day but only every third day but you can request whenever needed. Its a great hotel for that price.

Great amenities, good breakfast, comfortable beds. Quite cheap, especially in January.
