Sad, lots of the photos are quiet graphic and very confronting. Found it interesting and if you enjoy history and want a cultural experience definitely visit. If going with younger children avoid Level 2 and 3 exhibitions as graphic photos. The helicopters and b52 planes from the war are down stairs outside and they enjoyed that. Lost of younger kids. My teenager found it very interesting but also confronting.

Mostly photos. Of course it only shows the point of view of the Northern Communists- but I think it is good to review the point of view of each involved party. For the point of view of the southerners in this war, head to Texas or California and visit the Vietnamese refugee expatriates.

Sobering. Some pictures too hard to look at. A memorial to the war that is confronting but also acknowledges that many in the world were unhappy with the carnage and stood with Vietnam to end this. Well laid out.
