Been on the Tram twice now.
Been on the Tram twice now. All lines have their own Highlights. The Red line was definitely - Le Lude, Maison, Eikehof, Paserene, Grand Provence and Rickety Bridge. Purple Line - Boschendal was our favourite. At the main terminal you have to start with a Coffee and a Beignot.AAvineshSouth Africa

We were fortunate enough to get driven there by our host. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful and had loads of suggestions on what to do around Franschhoek. We really enjoyed our stay at Petit Ermitage! The bed was comfortable, the shower was spectacular and the rest of the place was very cosy. The location is fantastic and safe, with the Franschhoek Wine Tram a 5 minute walk down the road. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and could leave our baggage at reception. The breakfast, MCC and everything about this place is top-notch!

It was so nice to have the kitchen facilities for making tea in the morning and you can cook your own meals if you want to. It was beautifully situated within a short walk from the Franschhoek Wine Tram Terminal and the town - it was truly a dream location and made our trip so fuss-free. Ferdi was kind enough to allow us to park our car on-site before the tram departure, which really helped us relax knowing our vehicle was secure for the day.
