The property has the most wonderful view that you could get in the world, and this is not an exaggeration. You can see the whole bay, during whale months, you see the whales very close. All the amenities are more than expected, and the rooms are lovely. You can get anywhere on foot, and you can also watch the people coming and going at the Hermanus Old Harbour and Waterfront. We have no complaints whatsoever.

But it also has a patio with Grill so it’s also perfect for summer, as well. The location is superb, area is really safe, 2 mins walk from cliff walk, 10 - 15 mins walk along the cliffs to the restaurants and shops near old harbour. Each morning we took a long walk along the cliff paths ending with breakfast at Oskars. Oskars, the cliff paths and the old harbour are all within an easy stroll of the cottage. Many thanks to our lovely hostess and the staff who took great care of us during our stay.
