The village is a nature-lovers haven. It's breathtaking. The unit was just fine with enough light and windows to see springbok, impala, zebras, wildebeest and monkeys roaming about. A great experience

Close to crocodile bridge. Malelane is only half an hour away. Komatipoort is small and does not have many storey, so get your groceries from malelane before you get to Marloth .
They were opening a small spar there before we left marloth.

Staying at Marloth Park allows you to view animals within the park and is close to the Kruger Park if you are going to do a day visit there.-
The Kruger Maroela Lodge was well priced and very comfortable.
Very friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The on site restaurant had a good menu that is well priced. Well worth using.
I would definitely stay at Maroele Lodge again!!

Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature.
Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature. However, for more that 30 years, nothing has been done to improve roads. The roads really are in very poor condition. For example, if they have paved 50 meters of road every month, then after 30 years they would have covered 18 Km!
Shops and restaurants are good and are still improving.
Security is very good.

We enjoy Marloth, it has been our go to place for years.
We enjoy Marloth, it has been our go to place for years. We like to get away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. However Marloth has become a little messy. The "bus stop/workers" section opposite Marlothi is a turn off. It looks messy and sort of townshiplike. Hopfefully Marloth can take action against the messiness of the parttime workers

What I like most of Marloth Park was the free roaming wild life in their natural habitat. They came up to your door. Buy your groceries before coming to Marloth Park. However if you forgot anything do not worry the town has a little shop where you can find everything you need.
Respect for animals. Guided bushwalk with Rick a must. Various restaurants with reasonable prices with good food. Sit back relax and just watch the animals and birds. Nice stalls with homemade goodies for us city slickers. Quad bike rides really nice experience with your older children, extremely fun even for me doing it for the first time with my son. Do not worry you drive on a plot just outside Marloth park gate so wild life is not disturbed.
The hosts Linique&Pierre were fantastic in this stunning place ! Pierre took us on an interesting bush walk in Marloth Park where many harmless animals ( bucks, giraffes, warthogs etc) roam freely. so while enjoying a drink by the pool Antilopes pass by . Incredible! From the terrace upstairs we‘ve had a fantastic view over the river . Linique really made us feel at home and pampered us . Organized the game drive to Kruger , bicycles. we so much enjoyed our stay that we extended our stay for 1 day !
Lion Hill @Kruger is a well equipped house in Marloth Park with the advantage of not experiencing load shedding in its full extent. Since the lights are connected to some kind of a generator, we didn’t have to sit in the dark during load shedding, which felt great.
Having a washer and dryer in the house also helped us getting everything ready again for our next stop where we wouldn’t have the option to wash our clothes, which was a big plus when traveling with kids.
Luise and Neil were great hosts. We went to stay in Marloth Park for one night and to go into Kruger on the next day. But we hadn't really planned on how to do it. So they gave us lots of good advice and helped us with the planning. With their help we managed to see a lot of animals on the next day. Luise also prepared a lovely vegetarian dinner for us and made us breakfast that we could take into the park with us, since we had to leave quite early in the morning.
Excellent value for money. The unit is clean, comfortable and very secure. The Crocodile River is close - within comfortable walking distance. There are frequent 'visitors' (zebra, kudu, warthog, impala) especially in the morning. Overall I would highly recommend the property especially if you book both the house and studio.
Wonderful stay at wielewaal
The owner were so caring and welcoming
We wish we could stay longer
We recommand with our eyes closed

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of Marloth park.
Enjoyed the comfortable room and the nature and wildlife that surrounded us.
We saw loads of Bushbabies that came out every night.
We also enjoyed the Braai on the stoep with a wonderful view.
The host was extremely friendly, helpful and was available when I needed to discuss arrangements. The location is great and the apartment is very well looked after. Everything was clean and neat. Would definitely recommend to Marloth Park visitors.
We loved return to this lovely house in Marloth Park. The highlights for us is always the comfort and space. Everything is provided to make the stay comfortable.
Thank also for our host Gerda for the information and assistance.
The space was really quite, and close to Kruger. The owners and personnel were very friendly and helpful!
We also had dinner, which was really great. In Marloth Park there are no other real good restaurants.
Location to Marloth Park gate was great as we leave early for the park and this saved us time in the mornings.
The house was clean and had everything we needed.
We enjoyed the braai area and braai pit.
Owners are warms as family.
We were late and they helped us with many things as woods and others stuffs.
The place is even where the best restaurant of all Marloth Park is.
Great.
Place is clean and you have to remember it is in the bush environment its not going to be a Santon hotel. So if you are a clean freak then maybe the bush is not for you.
