The Falls is one of the wonders of nature and force of nature that is mind blowing to behold!
The town of Victoria Falls is not big but has a great variaty of accommodation to choose from. It offers a real African experience with any luxury you could dream of if prevered. The unspoiled nature is dramatic and beautiful and smaller wild animals grazes around, free to run off when ever they want. The Zambezi is a mighty river and river cruises are popular. The fantastic African sun sets is a sight to behold and sets the mood for dinner with wine and song! If you love nature, be sure to include the Victoria Falls on your bucket list. I completely fell in love with the people of Victoria Falls.
I completely fell in love with the people of Victoria Falls. Everyone from staff to locals to other tourists were friendly and accommodating.
The falls themselves are breathtaking, but be prepared to get absolutely soaked.
I would recommend The Lookout and Boma restaurants. I enjoyed both.
Be prepared to take a taxi or shuttle everywhere and having to pay $10 for almost every trip.

The Falls and just waking the bridge were amazing!
The Falls and just waking the bridge were amazing!
Some of our group (Zimbabwean expats with children returning for their first visit) ate at the Bomba and loved it. They enjoyed explaining the significance of the performance and the food.
I wish we had stayed longer to take part in the animal safaris based out of Vic Falls.

This is a wonderful place to visit. The Falls were spectacular.
It was hot and humid. It was difficult to navigate the taxis as they continually tooted and harassed you about booking them.
The grocery shops were not well stocked and were very expensive.
Private charter taxis are a good option.

We had a really enjoyable stay in Victoria Falls.
We had a really enjoyable stay in Victoria Falls. The helicopter trip over the falls, the sunset dinner cruise on the Zambesi, the walk in the national park next to the falls, the game drive, lion encounter and the Bamba tram were all excellent. Eating out at the lookout café and three monkeys café was very nice too. We did have an excellent time in Victoria Falls.
