Location was great . The cabin was lovely . I loved the little things they did to show care...the way the fireplace was prepared..there were LOTS of tea bags. There was glad wrap for the sandwiches . Charming and lovely

Experience luxury in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is an award-winning wilderness lodge located on the edge of the National Park and is 2 hours’ drive from Launceston and 75 minutes’ drive from Devonport.

Gorgeous setting and convenient to the park shuttle and to several trails practically just out the door. The breakfast buffet was outrageously good with a wide selection of items to suit any taste. The wallaby’s and wombats who visited each night were a special treat.

Boasting cottages and holiday cabins with cooking facilities, Discovery Parks - Cradle Mountain is just 800 metres from The Wilderness Gallery. Guests have access to laundry and BBQ facilities.

Each cabin and cottage has a refrigerator, microwave, kitchenware and tea/coffee making facilities. All include a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some cottages feature a spa bath and gas fire.

There were plenty of utensils and dishes for us to do our basic cooking, and the room was spacious enough to relax in. The check in process was so easy and much appreciated as we were running late but still got into the cabin without any trouble!!

Great spot right at the entrance to the park. A few 100ms from the visitors centre and shuttles. The lodge area and hellyers were exceptional ( we ate there both nights and were made to feel very welcome with our very small children). Cabin was simple but all we needed and the setting was perfect for a cradle mountain stay.

The lodge atmosphere is great and the rooms/cabins are in small groups and hidden amongst the bush, so it all feels secluded. Breakfast was good and it was great to have a choice of two restaurants for dinner. Nice to sit by the open fires that are in multiple locations throughout the lodge. Easy access to the shuttle bus to get into the park. Some walks are close enough to do without the shuttle. There's plenty of wildlife around the lodge.

The location of the lodge was wonderful and well placed. The tours were a good experience but you also had to pay more for that.
